This month, we announced our plans for a new business district and sustainable transport hub and are now inviting you to help us shape our proposals by sharing your views with us until Wednesday 18 December.
Cardiff Hendre Lakes, which will be served by Cardiff Parkway railway station, aims to make a significant contribution to the regeneration of east Cardiff by bringing connectivity, jobs and investment to the region.
Located to the south of the existing St Mellons Business Park, the area is allocated for employment use in Cardiff Council’s Local Development Plan, and will contribute to the growth ambitions of the Cardiff Capital Region.
Have your say
We are keen for the project to benefit the local community as much as possible and have already been working with local councillors, AMs, MPs and a range of other stakeholders to develop our plans.
We are running four weeks of public engagement where you can share your thoughts and suggestions on the development.
Until Wednesday 18 December, you can tell us what you think about the project and what you would like to see, by filling out a short [online questionnaire – link], or by coming along to one of our public events:

Next steps
Once we’ve collected all your feedback, we will consider the responses and, where possible, include them as we continue to work on our designs for the scheme. We will then share our final proposals with you in a formal (statutory) consultation in early 2020, before we submit our planning application.
Visit our Get Involved page to find out how to have your say.
